| Headline: | Pre-selection of the SIST Workshop Participants |
| Description: | A workshop on the digitisation, creation, management and dissemination of a collection of electronic documents is to be held from 15 to 26 October 2007 in Antananarivo (Madagascar) within the framework of the SIST project (Scientific and technical information system - http://www.sist-sciencesdev.net/) initiated by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs which aims at providing the participants with the knowledge, methods and learning conditions needed for the design and management of a project for digitisation and the creation of a digital library. The training is intended for scientific and technical information managers at Universities or Research institutions. Participants will be chosen on the basis of a digitisation operation that can be used by the SIST project, whether at national level or in one or more countries that are active in the SIST project or in relation with the objectives of one of the SIST thematic networks.
