| Headline: | German Govt to Help Finance Land Reform in Namibia |
| Description: | GERMANY has pledged to finance Namibia's land reform process, as its former colony plans to start expropriating land from white farmers to resettle landless masses. 'Our participation in land reform is very important, this will definitely be a major part in our future bilateral co-operation,' German Economic Co-operation and Development Minister Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul told journalists in Windhoek on Friday, shortly after meeting top Government leaders including President Sam Nujoma. The two countries are due to start the next round of their bilateral and development co-operation negotiations next year. |
